After I have a baby it seems like we watch a lot of movies at the house. So we watched the movie Twilight - I hadn't seen it yet and it seemed like the rest of the world had. Well I was surprised how much I liked it. I thought I'd read the books too. I always enjoy something easy to read after a baby comes because life is so crazy for a few months that easy books are nice.
I burned through Twilight really easily and on Saturday bought the second book. Well I spent last night awake for about 3 hours with the baby and just kept reading. I've almost finished the second book. Jay keeps laughing because he hasn't seen me read like this but there isn't much to do when you're nursing a baby besides read something. So I guess we're off to the store again today to buy the third book.
On another note we took my mother to the airport last night. Bonnie fell asleep on the way to the airport and we tried to wake her up to say goodbye to Grandma. She did but it didn't register. When we got home she was asking where Grandma was. Of course we told her we'd taken her to the airport and Grandma was on her way home to see Grandpa. Tears followed and it was very sad for a little while but now things seem to be ok.

I was hoping you were doing okay today with mom gone! I want to come over - but Dean has his doc apt to get ready for his surgery!!!! And since I am making him do it:) I thought I better go with him to the doc visit (make sure he is going to do it!!) The pamplet he was looking at said something about not being pressured - he looks at me and asked me about that:) I told him no pressure - just no sex after the baby unless it is done:)!!!! You must tell Bonnie I'm sorry, sorry, sorry I had to leave without giving her a hug and kiss. Grandpa needed someone to talk to and Whisper needed someone to keep her company during the day. i loved my time with Bonnie, Chas and baby Charlotte. We did have fun. I'll see you next week. Baby Charlotte is wonderful.
So glad to hear you got sucked in too. I finished them last summer and while I'm not rereading them like many, I was entranced for a while! Glad you liked the movie.
There's nothing like middle-of-the-night nursing to help you buzz through more books and movies than you thought humanly possible. After Twilight there is the whole Artemis Fowl series. Better than Harry Potter and not as thick.
I haven't been sucked in to Twilight. But Reed did as me the other day if I wanted him to get them for me. I was wearing all black at that moment though, it was after church and I didn't want to bother changing my shirt.
