I was practicing on a bib this past two weeks. It takes me that long to make bibs or anything because I work a lot. But when I finished this bib I was happy with it. I decided it had too many imperfections to sell so I decided to let me little guy have it. Plus he doesn't have anything made by me and like I said it was good practice. I've noted a few things I'll change next time and am looking forward to making a lot more bibs in the future.
Bonnie is just full of energy that I am constantly amazed at how she keeps running around. I am also continually amazed at how much I love her.
One of my favorite activities is watching her playing in the yard. She loves our backyard and all the constant discoveries it allows her. Some days there is a little pond she can through rocks into. Other days she digs and runs around. She loves to play in the corral where the previous owners would give their horses a workout.
Last Sunday morning I looked out back and she was investigating the willow tree leaves while scooter sat in the grass and Jay worked on the yard. It was one of those moments in time that you just want to freeze.
So here he is. This is right after he ran off the back porch. I thought it would of been a blast if I had a photo of him on the back porch. Maybe next time.
Mother's day was just so fun this year.
One of my favorite things to do is bake. I love making cookies, cakes, and pies. Jay's family is loving having me live close. So for mother's day I made cupcakes. I hadn't made cupcakes in a long time and I really enjoyed it.
I'm currently in a phase that I like to try all kids of different toppings or decorating. For these cupcakes I had wanted to make strawberry frosting but upon finding strawberry frosting recipes I didn't have all the ingredients. so I decided to finally make white frosting and cut up the strawberries and put them on top. The cupcakes were really quite good.
Then for my Mother's day present Jay bought me a bunch of flowers to plant outside our house. We spent half of Saturday planting flowers and then we headed over to Grandma Bradley's house and helped plant flowers over there. It was just a really fun weekend.
Ok, I'm learning how to us flickr and my blog at the same time - so right now I'm getting a new post for every photo. I'll figure this out soon.
But I just love this picture. It is just so silly and captures the fun we had last weekend. We all really get a long well and although I was a little testy - I don't get a lot of sleep - we had a great time.

I returned Sunday night from a very very fun weekend in Las Vegas. My parents recently relocated there and this years the sisters all conviened there for a weekend. I brought my little guy along since he still nurses and relys entirely upon me for existence. Bonnie stayed at home with Daddy and all the other cousins stayed at home with their parents.
I think we started off the weekend right. We all headed out to have pedicures done. I loved the chairs they had us sit in while we had the pedicures. The chairs really massaged your back and there were a few moments I just wanted to fall asleep.
